In this dynamic role, you will create a nurturing, engaging environment that promotes early childhood development, literacy, and social skills. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire children to explore, discover, and grow through thoughtfully planned activities and compassionate guidance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the foundational years of a child's education. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that foster early childhood education, literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans tailored to preschoolers' developmental stages, including toddler care and special education needs. Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment. Provide individual support for children requiring additional assistance in areas such as speech, motor skills, or cognitive development. Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor growth and inform instruction. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support each child's welfare and educational journey. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and uphold standards of child welfare within the classroom setting. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with Preschool educational philosophies such as preschool experience or private school settings. Ability to work effectively with children across diverse needs, including special education and early intervention programs. Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and team members clearly and positively. Proficiency in classroom experience with toddlers or preschool-aged children, including daycare or childcare environments. Have a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
