The ideal candidate will have a passion for caring for infants and creating a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment where children can thrive.

Position Overview:

As the Lead Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for managing the infant classroom, implementing age-appropriate activities, maintaining licensing standards, and building strong relationships with families. This role requires a patient, organized, and reliable individual who understands the unique needs of infants and is committed to providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants ages 6 weeks to 18 months Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans Monitor and document children's developmental progress Maintain accurate daily reports and communication with families Follow all licensing regulations and center policies Ensure proper feeding, diapering, and sleep routines are followed Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom Supervise and collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers

Qualifications:

✔ High School Diploma or GED required ✔ Reliable transportation required ✔ Previous infant classroom experience required ✔ CDA, Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent experience preferred ✔ Knowledge of child development and licensing requirements ✔ Strong leadership and communication skills ✔ Ability to lift, carry, and actively engage with infants throughout the day ✔ Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential

Schedule:

Full-Time Position Shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM Must be flexible and available to work center operating hours as needed
