Float Teacher

The Goddard School at 1260 County Line Rd in Westerville is seeking a full-time float teacher to join our early education staff. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and welcoming teacher to float from classroom to classroom. This position will cover teacher lesson planning, lunch breaks, and time off. In this role, you will help with classroom activities, support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Duties Assist in daily classroom activities and engage with students throughout the day Maintain accurate attendance and documentation of daily care needs utilizing Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques to ensure a respectful and nurturing environment Collaborate with fellow teachers in communicating with families regarding children's daily schedule, progress, and milestones Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, Goddard's Quality Assurance policies, and licensing requirements

Qualifications:

Availability to work 9:00-6:00 daily Monday-Friday Ability to get down on the floor to interact with students Lift up to 40 pounds Experience working with young children (0-5 years of age) Perks of our school: On site owner along with supportive administrative office staff Clean environment for students and staff Paid lesson planning time and on the job training Recognition of Teacher of the Month with reserved parking space and gift card. Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Current medical within last 12 months with proof of vaccinations Current FBI and Ohio Background Check (provided by school) Rate of pay based upon experience and education.

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.50 per hour
