Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic early childhood education team as a Lead Toddler Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire growth, curiosity, and confidence in our littlest learners. In this vital role, you will lead engaging classroom activities, develop tailored curricula, and foster a warm, safe environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your expertise will help lay a strong foundation for toddlers' lifelong learning journey while ensuring each child's individual needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans focused on toddler care, early intervention, literacy education, and preschool readiness. Lead daily classroom activities that promote exploration, creativity, and social skills among toddlers. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies to create a respectful and nurturing environment. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support children's welfare both academically and emotionally. Oversee classroom management to ensure safety protocols are followed and the environment remains organized and engaging. Incorporate specialized techniques such as Montessori methods or other curriculum development strategies to enhance learning experiences. Support children's physical development through teaching physical education activities and promoting healthy habits. Maintain accurate records of children's development milestones, assessments, and standardized testing results when applicable. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management best practices. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and sensory activities suitable for toddlers. Experience with special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and administrators. Certification in early childhood education or related fields; Montessori certification is a plus. Familiarity with childcare regulations, child welfare standards, and best practices in toddler care. Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
