Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire growth, curiosity, and joy. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children across various age groups, from toddlers to preschoolers. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, early intervention, and childhood development. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, classroom management strategies, and physical education activities. Provide attentive toddler care and support children with special education needs or those requiring additional early intervention services. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to maintain a safe learning environment. Facilitate activities that enhance social skills, motor development, and cognitive growth while ensuring adherence to childcare standards. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom experience. Maintain organized classroom environments that support learning, safety protocols, and compliance with licensing requirements. Requirements Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and literacy education methods. Experience with Montessori or other specialized educational approaches is preferred. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate math, physical education, tutoring techniques, and standardized testing preparation when applicable. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; ongoing professional development in childhood care is a plus.
