Pre-K Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-K Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Duties Design and implement dynamic curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning tailored to preschool-aged children. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management. Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a safe and organized space conducive to learning and play. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and support child welfare initiatives. Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing standards to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly. Incorporate childcare best practices for toddler care, childhood development principles, and early intervention techniques into daily activities. Lead activities that develop fine motor skills, literacy skills, numeracy (including math), and physical coordination through engaging lessons. Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior reports, and classroom activities in compliance with educational standards. Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere that respects diversity and promotes positive social interactions among students. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; classroom experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy education at the preschool level. Experience working with children with special needs or implementing early intervention programs is a plus. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a positive learning environment. Certification or training in early childhood education or Montessori methods preferred; relevant coursework or credentials are advantageous. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment is desirable.
