Help children keep good hygiene Change the diapers of infants and toddlers Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allow children to learn about the world and explore interests Develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime Summary As a Childhood educator, you will support the daily development and well-being of young learners in a nurturing classroom setting. You will plan and implement age-appropriate activities, manage routines, and maintain a safe, engaging environment. Reporting to the lead teacher or program director, you will collaborate with families and support Early Childhood Education goals, including literacy, social skills, and basic numeracy. Your strong communication, classroom management, and childcare expertise will foster growth, curiosity, and a positive learning experience for all children. Qualifications Experience teaching or caring for young children in preschool or early childhood settings Strong classroom management and communication skills Knowledge of early childhood education principles; ability to plan age-appropriate activities Basic literacy and numeracy instruction, with capabilities in progress monitoring Experience with curriculum implementation and standard safety/health practices Ability to create a safe, engaging learning environment; possess patience and adaptability
