Job Description
Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Toddler Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young children will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and development. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging, and safe environment tailored to the unique needs of infants and toddlers. Your expertise in early childhood education, combined with your enthusiasm for fostering curiosity and growth, will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and thrive. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers. Create a nurturing environment that supports each child's individual needs through tailored activities and care routines. Manage daily classroom activities, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and engaging play sessions that encourage curiosity and exploration. Use effective behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions and social skills among children. Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address any concerns related to early intervention or special education needs. Maintain accurate documentation of children's developmental progress, health records, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards. Incorporate literacy education and early childhood education best practices into daily routines to support early learning foundations. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management strategies tailored to infants and toddlers. Familiarity with curriculum development methods including Montessori or other early childhood education frameworks. Experience with special education practices and early intervention programs is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Certification in childcare or early childhood education is preferred; ongoing professional development in behavior management or child welfare is advantageous.
