Morning Support Staff

Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Staff to join our team. This role is essential in providing kitchen help as well as assisting teachers and ensuring a nurturing environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Duties Greet and welcome families coming into the center. Walk children to designated classrooms. Make breakfast for children staying at center all day. Clean up kitchen and breakfast dishes Provide support in classroom to create a positive learning environment. Monitor children in care. Foster strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff to ensure effective collaboration. Maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students. Qualifications Kitchen/cooking experience small to medium groups Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is required. Background in early childhood education or special education is preferred. Strong understanding of toddler care, behavior management, and classroom experience. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of child welfare practices and commitment to fostering a safe environment for all children.
