Classroom Aide (infants under 1.5 years old)

• We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Classroom Aide to support the education and well-being of our students.

As a Classroom Aide, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment, working closely with teachers and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for early childhood education and a desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners.

• Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation Support the daily activities of the classroom, including transitions, meal time, and outdoor play Monitor and manage student behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students Provide individualized support to students, focusing on their social, emotional, and academic needs Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure seamless communication and collaboration Participate in classroom clean-up and organization efforts Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies for managing challenging behaviors Demonstrate a strong commitment to literacy education and early childhood education principles Foster a sense of community and inclusivity within the classroom •

Qualifications:

• Experience working with preschool or early childhood students Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage and redirect student behavior in a positive and constructive manner Experience working with students who require additional support or accommodations A commitment to working with students, teachers, and staff to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment A passion for learning and a willingness to grow and develop professionally

Pay:

From $15.05 per hour
