Early Childhood Teacher for our Toddler Program

Job Summary The Waldorf School of Bend is seeking a Lead Early Childhood Teacher for our Toddler Program. This role centers on creating and sustaining a warm, safe, and nurturing Waldorf environment for our youngest children, ages 24-36 months. The Teacher works collaboratively within the Early Childhood program, which includes Toddler, Preschool, and Kindergarten and is a part of our greater school community. This position calls for a compassionate teacher who can guide and support an assistant, warmly welcome and onboard new families, and offer meaningful parent education. The ideal candidate brings both a deep respect for early childhood and a commitment to fostering a rhythmical, playbased, and relationship centered classroom inspired by Waldorf pedagogy. Qualifications Candidates should demonstrate a genuine love for working with toddlers, a connection to Waldorf principles, the ability to build strong relationships with families, and a commitment to personal and professional growth and development. Additional training through Lifeways or a Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher certification program is highly valued, as is experience working with diverse populations.
