Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire young minds and foster a nurturing learning environment. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and supporting the developmental needs of children from infancy through preschool age. Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and effective classroom management strategies. Engage with children through interactive activities that support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support ongoing child welfare initiatives. Assist with classroom organization, lesson planning, and maintaining educational materials to ensure a stimulating learning space. Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention strategies to maximize their developmental potential. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods when appropriate and adapt teaching approaches accordingly. Requirements Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, including classroom experience in early childhood education environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management skills. Familiarity with curriculum development practices across various educational disciplines such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori approaches. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children. Ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental stages. Experience working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services is preferred. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; familiarity with toddler care and preschool experience is essential.
