This position will begin with our Preschool Summer Camp program and transition into a permanent preschool teaching position when the school year begins. We are looking for someone who is dependable, committed, and passionate about working with young children. The ideal candidate is someone we can count on to show up consistently, build relationships with families, and help create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment. Summer Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-1:00

PM Fall Preschool Schedule:

Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM-2:00 PM Responsibilities Supervise and engage up to 10 children ages 3-5 Follow daily schedules, lesson plans, and routines Lead crafts, sensory activities, games, and preschool learning activities Facilitate gymnastics circuits and basic gymnastics instruction Monitor children during open gym and active play Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment Communicate professionally with families and staff Support children's social, emotional, and physical development Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, and daily organization Qualifications Must be registered with the Oregon Central Background Registry (CBR) or be willing to obtain registration within the first 3 weeks of employment Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification within the first 3 weeks of employment Experience working with preschool-aged children Gymnastics experience preferred but not required Strong classroom management skills Positive, patient, and energetic personality Reliable transportation and excellent attendance Ability to stay active and engaged throughout the day Must be dependable and committed to growing with the program What We're Looking For This is more than a summer job.
