Part-time Childcare Provider

Childcare Provider Duties:

• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
• Provide basic care such as feeding, diapering, and naptime routines
• Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and educational activities
• Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to promote positive behavior management
• Communicate with parents or guardians about their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare space

Skills:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be available weekends (7:00-4:00)
• Must be available weekdays (6:30am-5:30pm)
• Classroom experience in early childhood education or related field
• Strong caregiving skills with a focus on child safety and well-being
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors and implement behavior management strategies
• Experience in providing care for toddlers and understanding their unique needs
• Understanding of childhood development stages and ability to support developmental milestones
• Excellent classroom management skills to create a structured and engaging learning environment
