Job Overview Do you have a heart for working with our youngest learners? Harwell School is seeking a responsible, professional, and energetic Co- Preschool Teacher to join our team. This position provides flexible classroom coverage as needed and assisting the lead preschool teacher The co teacher plays a key role in ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children, Helping with creating the curriculum and prep, also maintaining compliance with licensing regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, adaptable, and passionate about early childhood education. This role requires strong communication skills, leadership ability, and a willingness to step into classrooms to maintain quality care and required ratios. Duties & Responsibilities Primary Role - Preschool teacher assistant: Provide flexible classroom support by Assisting the lead preschool teacher. Ensure state-mandated child-to-staff ratios are consistently maintained while assisting with supervision and care across all age groups. Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and center policies. Assist with curriculum implementation to maintain high-quality, developmentally appropriate programming. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility. Foster positive and professional relationships with children, families, and staff. Qualifications Active DELC Criminal Background Check (required prior to start date) All Safety set classes Must have food handlers Previous childcare or preschool experience required Knowledge of state licensing regulations and requirements CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay:
$18.00 - $18.50 per hour
