Daycare Assistant

Duties Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and addressing minor behavioral issues with care and patience Help with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving routines for infants and toddlers Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support each child's well-being and progress Support inclusive practices by working with children with disabilities or special needs, ensuring they feel valued and supported Skills Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar settings Certification in first aid and CPR to respond confidently in emergencies Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and effective behavior management techniques Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, guardians, and team members Join us in creating joyful learning experiences!
