Position Overview We are seeking compassionate and experienced Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with preschool-aged children. This role is essential in preparing children for future learning while ensuring a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment where children are encouraged to explore and succeed. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool-aged children in alignment with school themes and the PA Learning Standards for Early Childhood. Establish a safe, nurturing, and creative classroom environment that supports exploration and growth. Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Assess children's developmental progress and maintain ongoing communication with parents through conferences and written reports. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning experience. Maintain a clean, organized, and structured classroom environment conducive to learning. Foster an inclusive and positive atmosphere aligned with the mission and values of St. Andrew's Nursery School. Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, NAEYC standards, and Nursery School policies. Qualifications Minimum of two years of experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare or educational setting. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Early Childhood Education and/or Elementary Education, or Private Academic Certification for Nursery School/Kindergarten. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to pass required background checks and meet PA Department of Education requirements.
