Child Services Assistant

Lifesteps is hiring two, part-time Early Intervention Screeners to assess and evaluate children and infants as they grow and develop. Position Summary:

The Early Intervention Developmental Screener is responsible for scheduling, administering, scoring and interpreting developmental screenings for children ages birth to 5 years old. This position is also responsible for sharing the results of the screening to the parents in a professional, non-threatening manner and providing parents with information on developmentally appropriate activities and child development. Part-time positions work out of the Butler Office from Wednesday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. No Weekends, No Evenings. No Holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Family Studies, Psychology or a related Human Service field OR -- High School Diploma with a CDA Certificate Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Current driver s license and the ability to travel for business with personal vehicle

Preferred:

Experience with Children, such as: Child Development Assessment experience, prior work as a Teacher Aide, childcare staff, daycare employee, AGS, etc Apply Today!
