The Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment while supervising children and supporting classroom staff.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom. Supervise children and ensure compliance with state regulations. Complete daily reports, observations, and documentation. Communicate professionally with parents and staff. Guide and support assistant teachers and aides. Ensure children's physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met. Participate in staff meetings and required trainings.
Pay:
$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
