In this vital role, you will create a vibrant, safe, and engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development and literacy education. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster curiosity, social skills, and a love for learning among preschool children. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working within a collaborative educational team. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including Montessori methods and other pedagogical approaches. Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and creative activities to support holistic development. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies to ensure a respectful learning environment. Support children with special education needs and early intervention strategies to promote inclusive learning experiences. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Foster strong communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that encourages exploration, independence, and social interaction. Experience Prior classroom experience in preschool settings or daycare environments is required; private school experience is a plus. Demonstrated expertise in childhood development principles, classroom management, and childcare best practices. Experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, with knowledge of toddler care routines. Familiarity with special education techniques, early intervention programs, and teaching physical education activities. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures for early learners and experience in tutoring or individualized instruction is advantageous. Background in early childhood education certifications or relevant training such as Montessori certification or coursework in literacy education.
