Job Description

Are you looking to make a difference in the life of a child? Do you have a passion for working with young children? We are actively hiring for a childcare provider/teacher at our Camp Hill location located at 1901 CHESTNUT ST. Camp Hill, PA Our program employs and supports a teaching staff that has the educational qualifications, knowledge, and professional commitment necessary to promote children's learning and development.
Responsibilities :
Creates a caring community for learning Available to work with different age groups and have a varying/flexible schedule Supervises children Uses instruction to deepen children's understanding and build their skills and knowledge Attends staff meetings, required training's, and other center events Establishes and maintains relationships of cooperation and respect with all co-workers and families Assumes a fair share of work, looks for ways to be helpful, and demonstrates initiative Communicates effectively with other staff to ensure smooth operations Collaborates with families and community agencies to assure smooth child transitions Qualifications Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required for employment Associates Degree or Higher Preferred Documented child care experience related to early childhood/child day care programs Willing and able to respond immediately and appropriately to multiple or unexpected situations or emergencies Must follow state, federal, and agency guidelines pertaining to immunizations, employment medical examination, and required health and safety training Must comply with all applicable State Regulatory and Licensing Agency requirements and Clearances Must meet all state qualifications for classroom teaching positions and maintain state in-service requirement Must be passionate about working with children and promoting learning in a fun and active environment Must have a high level of patience and tact when dealing with potentially difficult or stressful circumstances Must have communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with children, families, and co-workers Neat, clean, and professional appearance Able to frequently lift, move, or hold children up to 35 pounds Able to demonstrate full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit, and otherwise fully participate in activities

$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
