Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes the healthy development of infants. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners and support their growth across all developmental domains. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to infants' needs, incorporating curriculum development principles and early intervention strategies. Lead daily classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment. Manage classroom routines, behavior management techniques, and child welfare practices to foster positive behavior and emotional security. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support ongoing learning at home. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and student interns, providing guidance on classroom management, curriculum implementation, and best practices in childcare. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and standardized testing requirements relevant to early childhood education settings. Maintain detailed records of children's developmental milestones, attendance, and lesson plans to support ongoing assessment and program quality. Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development theories, early intervention methods, and preschool curriculum standards including Montessori and literacy education. Proven experience working with children in daycare or preschool environments with a focus on toddler care and classroom management. Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to develop creative lesson plans that incorporate math, physical education, and other core subjects aligned with early childhood education standards. Expertise in behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood programs and experience in tutoring or teaching physical education is a plus. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and inclusive practices supporting children with special needs or requiring individualized attention. Pay:
