We are currently seeking a professional and energetic Childcare Floater/Substitute Teacher . In this role, you will support multiple classrooms by stepping in as needed to ensure a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for all children. As a Floater/Substitute, you will assist with classroom management, help maintain daily routines, and support teachers in delivering age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development. RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides support across various classrooms as needed, including infant, toddler, and preschool rooms Assists in supervising and engaging children during daily activities, playtime, and transitions Maintains a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment at all times Follows lesson plans and classroom schedules provided by lead teachers Helps with meals, snacks, diapering, toileting, and clean-up routines Promotes positive behavior and assists in guiding children through social interactions Ensures all children are accounted for and safe at all times Communicates effectively with teachers, staff, and management Completes required paperwork such as daily reports or incident reports when necessary Adapts quickly to different classroom environments and age groups Assists with playground supervision and ensures equipment is used safely Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality Highly professional and dependable Must be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill levels as well as with parents, coworkers, and management Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high Performs other duties as assigned Kiddie Academy is an Equal Opportunity Employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.
