Job Description
Overview We are seeking loving and energetic people to join our mission to build a passion for learning in an early childhood education setting for the 2026/2027 school year. We strive to provide a safe, nurturing and joyful learning environment where children grow academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually in a purpose to build a strong educational foundation. Duties Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy, math, and sensory activities aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or other early childhood frameworks Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior, implementing behavior management strategies, and maintaining a safe, organized learning environment Engage children in activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and early literacy and numeracy skills Help with daily routines including snack time, bathroom breaks, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure smooth transitions and comfort for all children Work closely with children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or other developmental challenges, providing tailored support to foster inclusion Assist in classroom setup, material preparation, and cleanup to ensure an inviting learning space that stimulates curiosity and exploration Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in preschool settings or daycare environments is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development milestones, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with special education practices, behavior management strategies, and working with children with autism or disabilities is advantageous Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and engage with parents Demonstrate patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children of diverse backgrounds including toddlers and preschoolers Certification in childcare or early childhood education is desirable but not mandatory.
