Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Room Lead, where your passion for nurturing and teaching young children will shine! Your expertise in early childhood development, combined with your leadership skills, will inspire a team of caregivers and ensure each child's developmental needs are met with care and professionalism. Responsibilities Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring they are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with developmental milestones for infants. Foster a nurturing environment that promotes emotional security, social interaction, and early learning experiences. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregivers, providing guidance on best practices in infant care and classroom management. Implement individualized care plans that support each infant's physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress, health records, and daily reports in compliance with licensing standards. Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed, including first aid procedures and sanitation practices. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and build strong relationships rooted in trust. Experience Prior experience working with infants in a daycare or preschool setting is essential; classroom experience with toddlers is highly valued. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for early childhood education. Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering positive behavior management strategies. Certification or near completion of an Early Childhood Education (ECE) program or related field is required; ongoing professional development is encouraged. Familiarity with special education techniques and working with children with disabilities is a plus. Certifications such as first aid and CPR are required; additional training in behavior management or caregiving is advantageous. Experience in classroom management, caregiving roles like nannying or babysitting, and working with children of diverse needs will strengthen your application. Pay:
