Teaching Full Job Description Preschool Educator Location:
2312 W 15th Street Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Educator with experience working with preschoolers. This is a full-time position at a licensed early childhood center committed to providing a warm, developmentally appropriate environment for every child. Responsibilities Provide responsive care and supervision for children aged 3-4 years old Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities Support developmental milestones through play, songs, stories, and interaction Ensure classroom health, hygiene, and safety practices meet DHS standards Build trusting relationships with families through daily communication Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and behavior Collaborate with co-teachers and center staff for a cohesive classroom environment Must meet DHS Assistant Group Supervisor qualifications, such as: A CDA , associate's degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience Strong understanding of child infant development and care routines Up-to-date clearances as required by DHS Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Preferred Skills Patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with young children Ability to create a structured yet flexible classroom routine Team-oriented with strong communication skills Familiarity with early childhood assessments and observations Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and education Paid professional development opportunities Tuition reimbursement for continuing education Annual bonuses Free gym membership Paid time off and holiday schedule !
