Job Description
St James Early Learning Center is seeking motivated, nurturing individuals to join our team. This is a co-teaching position; you and your co-teacher will work together to maintain daily classroom operations. Individuals must have the ability to multi-task while meeting the needs of individual children and still manage the classroom environment as a whole. Individuals must have strong classroom management skills, knowledge of child development, including social-emotional development techniques and skills, kindergarten readiness, and the benefits of play. Individuals will maintain daily routines, play and interact with various children, plan active and engaging lessons that meet PA early learning standards, apply early childhood development theories in daily activities, help serve meals & clean up, and clean and maintain an orderly room. Individuals must have the ability to work and maintain a high standard of professional ethics with persons of different racial, ethnic, economic, and social backgrounds. Maintaining confidentiality of the families, children, and other center staff.
