The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The Toddler Teacher will be responsible for developing age-appropriate lesson plans (after training), fostering social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all children. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience. Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments. Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of children, including those with special needs or disabilities. Supervise daily activities such as snack time, outdoor play, and nap time. Qualifications Experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques. Ability to create engaging educational activities that cater to various learning styles. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Previous experience in nannying, babysitting, or infant/toddler care is beneficial. A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
