We are committed to providing exceptional care and education for children from infancy through kindergarten. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Associate Director of Education & Compliance to join our leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for an educational leader who is passionate about quality early childhood education and wants to play a key role in the growth and long-term success of our school. Position Summary The Associate Director of Education & Compliance serves as a key member of the leadership team and works closely with the Center Director to ensure excellence in educational programming, regulatory compliance, staff development, and day-to-day operations. This position is designed to provide leadership continuity and operational support across both our OCDEL-regulated childcare program and our Department of Education private kindergarten program. The ideal candidate will possess the qualifications necessary to assume Center Director responsibilities when needed and help maintain compliance with all applicable licensing and educational requirements. Key Responsibilities Educational Leadership Support implementation of curriculum and educational programming. Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching to teaching staff. Assist with teacher evaluations, mentoring, and professional development. Promote a positive culture focused on child development and educational excellence. Compliance & Licensing Assist with compliance related to Pennsylvania OCDEL regulations. Maintain staff credential and training records. Ensure child files and required documentation remain current. Support licensing inspections, audits, and quality improvement initiatives. Assist with Keystone STARS requirements and accreditation efforts. Private School Administration Support compliance and documentation related to the school's private kindergarten program. Assist with educational records, curriculum oversight, and academic program administration. Operations & Leadership Serve as Acting Director in the absence of the Center Director. Support enrollment, family engagement, and school operations. Participate in leadership meetings and strategic planning initiatives. Assist with staff scheduling, onboarding, and retention efforts. Required Qualifications Masters/Bachelor's/Associate's degree in early childhood education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Special Education, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in an early childhood education setting. Experience supervising staff or serving in a leadership role. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and administrators. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a Child Care Center Director or Assistant Director. Knowledge of Pennsylvania OCDEL regulations and/or Department of Education requirements. Experience with Keystone STARS. Experience in a private school, preschool, or kindergarten setting.
