Early Childhood Teacher

The Hanover Area YMCA is hiring Preschool Teachers and Aides for our Early Learning Center. The Y provides a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on the YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring. Full time position available

• Both Monday
• Friday, 9am

Complimentary child care for Full Time Y Child Care Employees! Aides require a high school diploma; teachers need an AA or BA degree and 2500 hours experience working with children. CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training are required within 30 days of hire date. PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse History Background, FBI Fingerprint clearances and NSOR needed to start. Pay is $13 to $17 an hour depending on degree and experience Applicants should have the ability to plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities.
