Do you enjoy teaching through creative play and activities? We are a small growing company looking for part-time teachers to teach children ages 4-6 at our 2026 Spanish Summer Camp on-site in Havertown, PA. We are hiring for our half-day and full-day programs.

About Us:

Spanish Exploradores is building community, one child at a time. We believe learning should be fun, so we incorporate singing, games, and activities into our lessons. If teachers aren't having fun teaching, students aren't having fun learning! Our approach is immersion-style teaching. Our students acquire language through doing. Teachers introduce language through activities or by showing students without saying the word in English to expand their Spanish vocabulary.

TEACHING POSITIONS

Part-time, with potential to grow with the company This is a part-time position, working approximately 15-30 hours a week. Spanish Summer Camp might be a good fit for Spanish teachers looking for additional income or college or graduate students pursuing a degree in Spanish or Early-Childhood Education. We are looking for candidates with the following qualities or experience: Command of Spanish and fully bilingual in English/Spanish Native speakers or lived in Latin America preferred Passion for teaching and speaking Spanish Experience teaching early-childhood age group preferred Must enjoy working with young children, ages 4-6 Ability to be silly and have a good sense of humor with kids Classroom experience preferred Ability to manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures. Creativity and crafting experience preferred Ability to work independently Strong organizational skills Excellent time management skills Capability to teach courses in Spanish following the course of study and curriculum Ability to carry 25lbs (craft materials, learning materials)

• 12:30 pm (half day) or 9:30 am
• 3:30 pm (full day) Camp runs for 6 weeks, from June 22
• August 28 (with a few weeks off) Hourly rate is $30 If selected for an interview, applicants will be required to provide letters of recommendation and all clearances.

Applicants must be willing to take a drug test, in accordance with local law/regulations. Safety is our top priority. A CPR First Aid class must be completed prior to starting and will be reimbursed after a term of employment designated in the contract.
