Full-Time Preschool/Pre-K Teacher

• We offer a full-time four-day workweek! Typical schedules are 7:30 a.m
• 5:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m
• 6:00 p.m., giving you one extra weekday off each week.
• For Kids' Sake Child Care & Learning Center is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and reliable teacher for a full-time Preschool/Pre-K teacher position.

This candidate must be knowledgeable and love working with children. We are looking for someone who is excited to become a long-term member of our team, with a preferred commitment of at least one year. We are looking for a candidate with at least two years of experience working with children.

Job responsibilities include:

• Provide a warm, nurturing and safe educational environment for children
• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children that adhere to the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
• Participate in ongoing trainings
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment All candidates must have:
• At least a high school diploma (CDA, Associates in Early Childhood Education, or BA in Education or related field are much preferred)
• Two years of experience working with children which may include childcare centers, preschool programs, nannying, babysitting, summer camps, or similar roles working with young children.
• Must be able to obtain and pass FBI, Criminal, Child Abuse and NSOR clearances
• Positive, energetic attitude, ability to communicate well with children, teachers, and parents
• Ability to create and execute lesson plans based on PA Early Learning Standards
• Willingness to commit to working at least one year at the childcare center.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each child
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
