Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Profesora de Prescolar to inspire and nurture young learners during their crucial early childhood years. In this role, you will create a vibrant, safe, and engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will help lay the groundwork for lifelong learning and success. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children to foster their growth and development in a supportive setting. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among preschool children. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies to ensure a respectful and productive learning atmosphere. Conduct assessments of children's developmental progress using standardized testing tools and tailor lesson plans to meet individual needs. Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about children's progress, milestones, and any special educational requirements such as early intervention or special education needs. Incorporate age-appropriate activities that support toddler care, childhood development, and early intervention strategies. Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, attendance, and behavioral observations to support ongoing educational planning. Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of early childhood education methodologies such as Montessori is highly desirable. Experience working with students requiring special education or early intervention services is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administration. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and literacy education strategies. Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes child welfare while fostering academic growth. Prior experience in private schools or daycare centers is preferred; bilingual skills are an advantage. Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds!
