Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Room Leader to oversee the daily operations of our classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational atmosphere for children. As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in guiding both staff and students, ensuring that all activities align with our educational goals and standards. Duties Supervise and support classroom staff in implementing educational programs and activities. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all students. Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom setting. Provide guidance and support to children in areas such as infant care, toddler care, and working with individuals with disabilities. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience for students. Requirements Previous experience in preschool settings, nannying, babysitting, or special education is preferred. Strong skills in classroom management and the ability to educate children effectively. Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those with disabilities. Knowledge of infant care and toddler care practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and contributing positively to their development. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities. Pay:
$9.00 - $11.00 per hour
