Duties Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curricula tailored to infants' developmental stages, incorporating best practices in early childhood education and Montessori methods. Lead daily lesson planning, integrating literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional learning to foster holistic growth. Manage classroom environments to ensure safety, cleanliness, and a positive atmosphere that encourages exploration and independence. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff, providing guidance on instructional strategies, behavior management, and classroom procedures. Utilize learning technology for tracking student progress, documenting developmental milestones, and communicating with families. Conduct ongoing assessment of student performance data to inform instructional adjustments and support individualized learning plans for children with disabilities or special needs. Maintain compliance with educational regulations and standards while implementing multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) to address varied learning needs effectively. Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, behavior management, conflict resolution, and inclusive teaching practices. Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication, educational workshops, and collaborative goal setting for each child's growth trajectory. Qualifications Proven experience in early childhood education or preschool settings, specifically working with infants or toddlers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavioral guidance strategies. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and instructional design tailored for young children. Familiarity with LMS platforms for tracking student progress and managing educational records. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs; knowledge of multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to analyze student performance data for quantitative evaluation of developmental progress. Understanding of educational compliance regulations relevant to early childhood programs; commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality care. Certification in early childhood education or related fields; Montessori certification or preschool experience is desirable. Strong organizational skills combined with conflict management abilities to create a harmonious classroom environment focused on positive behavior reinforcement.
