Duties Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, social-emotional skills, and behavioral health strategies Lead daily classroom activities that promote active learning, curiosity, and positive behavior management Collaborate with speech therapists, behavioral therapists, and other specialists to support children with autism, developmental disabilities, or those requiring early intervention services Conduct assessments of student progress using standardized testing tools and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet each child's specific needs Foster effective communication with families through regular updates, conferences, and mentoring to support ongoing child development at home Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, behavioral reports, and IEP goals while ensuring compliance with educational policies and standards Manage classroom environment to ensure safety, inclusivity, and engagement for all children including those in preschool or Montessori settings Requirements Proven classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education or special education settings Experience developing and implementing curricula tailored for children with disabilities or developmental delays Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and external specialists Ability to lead by example through effective classroom management and mentoring of assistant teachers or interns Join our team as a Lead Teacher to empower children's growth through innovative teaching practices while building a supportive community that values diversity and inclusion.
