Job Description

Beanstalk is looking for Philly PreK (PHLPreK) Teachers to work full time or part time Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 2:30pm . We are looking for enthusiastic and creative Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching young children, a commitment to providing quality education, and the ability to maintain an engaging learning atmosphere.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Must have minimum of Associate's Degree in ECE or Related Degree Must have at least one year of experience teaching in a center Must have at least a B rating on the PA Registry Career Pathway Meet annual professional development requirements, per Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) Knowledge and experience with Teaching Strategies Gold Assessments Knowledge and experience with Creative Curriculum Ability to pass background checks Knowledge of ERS and Keystone Stars standards Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills. Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children Bilingual in any language a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students. Maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment for students. Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians. Develop positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
COMPENSATION
Competitive Salary at $19 to $21 per hour commensurate with education and experience Paid time off
Tuition Reimbursement Professional Development Assistance Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
