Support both children and families through education, communication, and transition planning, ensuring each child's developmental, social, and emotional growth is fostered in alignment with the PA Early Learning Standards.

What You'll Do:

Provide instruction and guidance to preschool children in a classroom setting, fostering growth in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with PA Early Learning Standards, tailored to each child's individual needs and strengths. Conduct developmental and behavioral assessments, track progress, and hold three parent/teacher conferences annually. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment, following ECERS guidelines and all safety/health procedures. Supervise and mentor classroom aides, volunteers, and support personnel to ensure consistency and quality in all classroom activities. Partner with families and community agencies to support children's holistic development and smooth transitions into the school system.

What You'll Bring:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree with Early Childhood Education Certification (PA Teaching Certification required)

Experience:

At least one year of classroom experience with preschool-aged children; one year of supervisory experience preferred. Familiarity with social service agencies and early intervention services a plus.

Skills & Attributes:

Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adapt to frequent change. Knowledge of PA Early Learning Standards and family engagement best practices. Collaborative leadership style that supports teamwork and professional growth.
