You'll create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and social-emotional development. Your expertise will help shape the foundational skills children need to thrive academically and socially, setting them up for success in their future educational journeys. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners while fostering their natural curiosity and creativity. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development tailored to diverse learning needs. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that encourage respectful interactions and independence. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall childhood development. Collaborate with families, co-workers and early intervention to support individual learning plans and promote child welfare. Monitor, assess, and document children's progress through observations while adjusting teaching methods accordingly. Manage daily classroom routines, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Requirements Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings Strong knowledge of childhood development milestones and best practices in early childhood education. Experience with child lead learning and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, and team members. Ability to work with students across various age groups Degree or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred Ability to stand for 30 minutes or longer at one time Ability to lift 50lbs from standing position
