Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored specifically for toddlers, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay a strong foundation for young learners during their crucial early years. The ideal candidate is committed to providing high-quality childcare, has a genuine love for working with children, and understands the importance of early childhood education principles. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging daily activities that promote toddler development in areas such as language, motor skills, and social interaction Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence Monitor and support children's emotional well-being, addressing individual needs with patience and understanding Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's growth, behavior, and any concerns Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development and classroom management Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting; classroom experience is highly valued Knowledge of early childhood education practices and developmental milestones for toddlers Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for young children Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports diverse learning needs including infants and children requiring extra care or caregiving support Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members Demonstrated commitment to safety standards, childcare best practices, and ongoing professional growth Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners!
