In this dynamic role, you will provide nurturing care and engaging educational experiences for infants and toddlers, ensuring their developmental needs are met in a safe, supportive environment. As a floater, you will also support various classrooms as needed, bringing flexibility and enthusiasm to our dedicated team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young children's lives while fostering their growth and curiosity. Responsibilities Provide attentive, loving care to infants and toddlers, supporting their physical, emotional, and social development. Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and early learning skills. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Support classroom management by assisting with routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute educational programs aligned with developmental milestones. Adapt to different classroom needs by acting as a floater, providing reliable coverage across multiple groups. Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and sanitation standards, to ensure a secure environment for children. Obtain and maintain state required background checks and trainings. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in daycare or classroom settings. Ability to manage behavior effectively through positive guidance strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage positively with children and families. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and caregiving routines specific to infant care. Demonstrated flexibility as a floater to adapt quickly to different classroom environments while maintaining professionalism. Join us in creating a joyful learning space where young children thrive!
