This vital role involves overseeing classroom operations, developing engaging curricula, and fostering a nurturing environment where young children can thrive. Duties Lead the planning and implementation of innovative curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Supervise classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Oversee daily classroom management and behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and respectful behavior among children. Collaborate with teachers and staff to design lesson plans that incorporate early intervention techniques, special education accommodations, and developmental milestones. Monitor student progress through assessments and standardized testing; utilize data to inform instruction and provide targeted tutoring or support as needed. Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, child welfare policies, and accreditation standards for preschool and daycare settings. Facilitate ongoing professional development for staff in areas such as childhood development, classroom management, curriculum updates, and inclusive practices. Engage with parents and guardians through clear communication about their child's progress, developmental needs, and classroom activities. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices in early childhood education and maintaining high standards of childcare quality. Qualifications Proven experience in early childhood education or preschool teaching roles with classroom experience in daycare or private school settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori methods. Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering a nurturing environment for toddlers and young children. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff, parents, and community partners effectively. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment tools. Certification or licensure in early childhood education or related fields; additional qualifications in behavior management or child welfare are advantageous. Ability to lead by example with enthusiasm, energy, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity.
