At this extraordinary stage of life, infants are developing relationships, discovering their capabilities, and making sense of the world through movement, exploration, communication, and connection. We view even our youngest learners as capable, curious individuals with unique perspectives and a natural drive to engage with their environment. Our educators thoughtfully support and document these early discoveries, creating meaningful experiences rooted in respect, responsiveness, and wonder. About the Role As an Infant Educator, you will cultivate nurturing relationships with children, families, and colleagues while creating an environment that supports secure attachment, exploration, and emerging independence. Through careful observation and intentional interactions, you will help infants build trust, confidence, communication skills, and a strong sense of belonging within the classroom community. What You'll Do Create a warm, responsive environment where infants feel safe, valued, and empowered to explore Build trusting, respectful relationships that support emotional security and healthy development Observe and document children's emerging interests, discoveries, and developmental milestones Design sensory-rich, developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage movement, exploration, and curiosity Support early communication through attentive listening, responsive caregiving, play, and meaningful interactions Collaborate with colleagues to reflect on children's learning and deepen pedagogical practice Partner closely with families, recognizing them as essential collaborators in their child's growth and development Respect and respond to each child's individual rhythms, routines, and developmental journey What We're Looking For Experience working with infants (10-18 months preferred) A nurturing and reflective educator who values relationships, observation, and inquiry Familiarity with, or interest in learning about, the Reggio Emilia philosophy Strong communication and collaboration skills EEC certification (or willingness to obtain, if applicable) A patient, flexible, and compassionate approach to caregiving and teaching Why You'll Love Working With Us We believe exceptional care and education begin with supporting exceptional educators.
