Role Overview We are seeking a passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our toddler program with creativity, patience, and expertise. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth while ensuring a safe and engaging classroom environment. Key Responsibilities Design and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that supports developmental milestones. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom that celebrates cultural diversity and accessibility. Build strong relationships with families through open communication and trust. Ensure compliance with state licensing standards and safety protocols. Mentor assistant teachers and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a supportive team environment. Qualifications Associate's degree with at least 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting. Knowledge of developmental milestones and best practices in toddler care. Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards Certificate (preferred). CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication and leadership skills with a commitment to equity and inclusion.
