Job Description

🌟 Lead Teacher - Infant Classroom (6 Weeks to 18 Months)
Location:
The Learning Experience, Columbia Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (full availability required)
Pay:
$15-$16 per hour, based on experience Inspire Growth From the Very Beginning Do you love nurturing young children during their most important developmental milestones? We're looking for a caring, energetic, and dedicated Lead Teacher to lead our Infant Classroom and create a safe, engaging environment where little learners can thrive. In this role, you'll help infants build confidence, explore the world around them, and reach new milestones every day—all while partnering with families and a supportive team that shares your passion for early childhood education. What You'll Do Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences Foster a safe, clean, organized, and nurturing classroom environment Support daily care routines, including feeding, diapering, and transitions Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members Observe and document developmental milestones and classroom progress Serve as a positive role model through professionalism, leadership, and teamwork What We're Looking For Experience working with infants (6 weeks-16 months), preferably in a lead teaching role Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Availability to work within our operating hours of 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Early Childhood Education coursework or related education preferred Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) the free 15-hour South Carolina Health & Safety Certification before orientation Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) First Aid/CPR certification A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children Why You'll Love Working Here Supportive and collaborative team culture Ongoing training and professional development opportunities The chance to make a meaningful difference during a child's earliest years A rewarding career helping build the foundation for lifelong learning This position is subject to all applicable state licensing requirements.
