Job Description

Nursery Caregiver / Preschool Teacher Frog Academy Preschool & Daycare - 3.5 Goose Creek, SC Job Details Full-time $15 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Early childhood education Personal service experience with children Laundry Cleaning Patience Full Job Description Infant Caregiver (Nursery) - Full-Time Daily, 8am-5pm 2761 Tricom Street, near Trident Hospital and CSU (Charleston Southern University). Do you love babies? We are seeking a dependable, patient, and hardworking caregiver for our nursery. Our nursery serves 15 infants and is one of the busiest rooms in our school. The ideal person for this role understands that infant care is much more than holding babies and rocking chairs. Our infants have individual feeding schedules, nap schedules, diapering routines, and emotional needs. Every child needs face-to-face interaction, cuddles, conversation, play, and responsive care throughout the day. A successful nursery caregiver is someone who can: Remain calm when multiple babies need attention at the same time Keep up with a fast-paced schedule throughout the day Maintain excellent cleaning and sanitation standards Follow feeding, diapering, and safe procedures consistently Work as part of a team and communicate well with co-caregivers Notice details and anticipate children's needs before they become problems Get down on the floor, sing songs, and actively engage with infants Show up every day ready to work Attendance is especially important in our nursery. The children depend on familiar caregivers, and your teammates depend on you. Reliability is one of the most important qualities we are looking for. This position requires someone who can spend the day on their feet, frequently lift and carry infants, bend, squat, sit on the floor, stand back up. The ideal candidate is not necessarily someone with years of childcare experience. It is someone who is dependable, nurturing, organized, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoys caring for babies throughout all parts of their day—including bottles, diapers, cleaning, laundry, and comforting little ones. If your idea of a great day includes baby giggles, lots of movement, and being part of a team that loves children, we'd love to meet you.
