Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and team‑oriented Childcare Teacher to join our growing program. We are looking for an educator who brings strong classroom management skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for hands‑on, play‑based learning. Position Overview The Childcare Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment. This role requires a teacher who can confidently lead a group of young children, maintain structure and routine, and work closely with co‑teachers to support a positive learning atmosphere. Key Responsibilities Implement daily lesson plans that promote exploration, creativity, and age‑appropriate skill development Maintain strong classroom management through clear expectations, consistent routines, and positive guidance Foster a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported Collaborate with co‑teachers and leadership to ensure smooth classroom operations Communicate effectively with families regarding child progress, behavior, and classroom updates Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies Engage in hands‑on teaching, modeling activities, and supporting children during play, transitions, and learning centers Qualifications Experience working in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Passion for early childhood development and hands‑on learning Dependable, professional, and committed to maintaining a positive classroom culture
