Early Interventionist

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Interventionist to support young children with developmental delays and disabilities. This role involves working closely with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote early childhood development through tailored interventions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, special education, or related fields, and possess excellent communication and classroom management skills. Duties Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on each child's unique needs, utilizing curriculum development and instructional design principles. Use learning technology and LMS platforms to track progress, document sessions, and communicate with families and team members. Conduct assessments of childhood development milestones in areas such as literacy education, math, physical education, and behavior management. Plan engaging lessons and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development aligned with early childhood education standards. Provide direct services to children with disabilities or developmental delays in home or community settings. Collaborate with families to provide guidance on childhood development, behavior management, and classroom management strategies. Maintain detailed documentation of interventions, progress notes, and assessments in compliance with program requirements. Participate in ongoing professional development related to special education, learning technology, Montessori methods, preschool experience, toddler care, library services, private school experience, and other relevant areas. Support classroom management strategies to create a safe and nurturing environment conducive to learning. Engage in regular communication with team members regarding child progress and program goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, or related field; advanced certifications preferred. Experience working with children with disabilities or developmental delays preferred. Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, instructional design, and learning technology platforms (LMS). Familiarity with classroom management techniques across various settings including preschool, or childcare centers. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families and team members. Experience with behavior management strategies and conflict resolution. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to early childhood development. Passion for working with children and supporting their growth through evidence-based practices in early intervention.
