Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in children. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the foundational years of childhood development through engaging lessons, compassionate care, and innovative teaching methods. As a Preschool Teacher, you will create a safe, stimulating environment that promotes learning and social-emotional growth, ensuring every child feels valued and supported on their educational journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, to foster holistic development. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and individual student needs. Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior management and social skills development. Engage with children through interactive activities that promote language acquisition, early intervention strategies, and childhood development milestones. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate student progress, behavioral observations, and tailored support strategies. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including toddler care routines, transitions, and structured play to ensure a balanced learning environment. Maintain accurate records of student assessments, standardized testing results, and developmental milestones to monitor progress effectively. Skills Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children with experience in literacy education and math instruction. Proven ability to work with children across diverse backgrounds, including special education needs and early intervention programs. Expertise in classroom management techniques that foster a positive learning environment and promote child welfare. Experience with classroom experience in daycare or private school settings, utilizing Montessori or other early childhood education philosophies. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with teaching physical education activities and incorporating movement into daily lessons. Ability to plan lessons effectively using standardized testing data to inform instruction and support tutoring efforts when needed.
