Daycare Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Worker to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Responsibilities Supervise and care for children in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and development Implement behavior management strategies to foster positive conduct and social skills Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, needs, and any concerns Assist with classroom management by organizing materials, setting up activities, and supporting other staff members as needed Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in First Aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle challenging behaviors effectively Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude Join us in creating a joyful space where children can learn, grow, and thrive!
